Chawali Dal

Just rinse these black eye beans and add to casseroles, stews, soups or rinse and serve cold as a salad garnished with herbs and fragrant oils. So convenient and such a great source of fibre and protein. In Maharashtra, they are called chawli and made into a curry called chawli amti or chawli usal.
